Joy

Our holy Torah abounds in verses, stories, and anecdotes about the importance of being joyful. It also does not run dry with injunctions and warnings on this subject; as it is written in the 'Humash Devarim: "... because you did not serve the Lord your G-d with joy and with a good heart..." (The rest of the verse is not very encouraging). The Ari zal revealed that he was able to reach his sublime level only through joy!
