The Petek

In 1922 Rabbi Israel received a miraculous letter, the Petek of Rabbi Nachman, in which he revealed to him the marvelous song that would reveal Divine (constant) providence in the world, the translation of which is as follows:

"It was very difficult for me to come down to you
My very dear student, to tell you that
I took great pleasure in your service and it is on you
That I said: My little fire will burn until
The arrival of the Messiah.
Be strong and courageous in your service
Na Na'h Na'hma Na'hman Meouman
And in this I reveal to you a secret, which is:
Full and overflowing from one end to the other (P.TS.P.TS.YH).
As you work harder you will understand, and the sign is:
On the 17th of Tammuz they will say that you are not fasting."

Throughout his life, Rabbi Israel, affectionately known as "Saba" (grandfather), kept this letter hidden.

It was only as he approached his 100th birthday that he realized the time had come to reveal this fabulous letter to the world , and thus share with the world the message of hope it conveys. For, aside from all the secrets it contains, there are two very clear revelations that Rabbi Nahman reveals to us:

The first is the holy name "Na Nach Nachma Nachman Meuman," which is the song to which Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai refers when he says that in the future a single, double, triple, and quadruple song will be revealed, which will bring the whole world closer to God and bring deliverance. Rabbi Yisrael guarantees that whoever sings "Na Nach Nachma Nachman Meuman" with faith will merit all deliverances, joy, and faith, and ultimately complete repentance for himself and for the entire Jewish people.

The second is the fact that the entire deliverance of the Jewish people depends on the spread of his teachings throughout the world, literally: "Full and overflowing from one end to the other," a mission he entrusted to Rabbi Israel.

Rabbi Israel devoted his entire life to this cause. As those who knew him can testify, every gesture, every word, was devoted to it.

“Saying and singing Na Nah Nahma Nahman Meouman rejoices, strengthens, encourages, heals.

It is the song of kindness, the Eden that waters the garden, it is the song at the origin of the Tsadikim and Hassidim.

We are entering a new world."
